Snowy Day Jumpstart

Most people complain about the snow, I on the other hand really enjoy it. I get so much enjoyment out of  sitting in a warm house or even the office and using my creative juices to create something new. I decided to get a head start on the invites for our Volunteer Appreciation Dinner in April. I've been playing around with Martha Stewart Craft Stencils and I'm having so much fun experimenting.

I used them on the roman shades in the kitchen and now for these invites, so versatile. Love them!

Never thought I would

Yes, I know that blogging has been around for awhile and as a creative person you would think that I would have been on board, but I am now, so that's all that matters to me.  I always figured that having a blog would mean big commitment, and I wasn't sure that I could be that person. I've realized that my blog will be whatever I make of it, it's up to me and I love that it stretches me creatively and as a writer. I've started new journals so many times and have stopped keeping them within the first week. It's been on my New Year's resolution list for probably the past 10 years, but we all know how those finish. So I guess, I'll use this blog as a sort of journal and a journey of my life from this day forward. Sharing my thoughts, the things that inspire me to create and my projects before and after. I'm looking forward to this adventure that is my life. :)
